Migration FAQ

Not really. What you send and to whom impacts reputation. Two other technical points that help protect domain reputation are proper SPF and DKIM settings and ensuring you have a warmup plan for new sender domain. Our deliverability experts can help you with this.

No, it is not recommended. Always use a warmup plan for better email delivery.

Pepipost has plugins and documented steps for integrating with popular application platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento. Click here to know more.

In you use open source libraries/platforms like Postfix, VBulletin etc, refer to our integration documentation.

A change is recommended only if you are using your existing email vendor’s link even after migration.

Download the list of email addresses that were suppressed on your earlier vendor's platform like hard bounces, unsubscribes, spam complaints etc.

Apart from link rewriting (used for tracking click responses) we don't make any changes to the template. Hence, the look and feel of your email will remain intact.

By default, your account will be linked to a shared IP space, these are as good as dedicated IP addresses. Learn more on why we recommend shared IP addresses.

You can use our sandbox feature to send test emails via both SMTP and API. There is also a “sink”address that you can use for testing. Just send emails on <anything>@sink.pepipost.com. On this domain, you can safely test the integration and sending speed without negatively impacting your reputation. All messages to this domain are accepted for delivery and then immediately deleted.

Our team will be available to help any time.

Don't forget the important steps that you will need to take regarding warm-up and deliverability.
